It doesn't get any more southern nor delicious than Buttermilk Pie! So, with the addition of bourbon and pecans, it just got even better! Serve it warm or cold with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Better yet, stir a little bourbon into your whipped cream before serving!
TIP: If you are not a bourbon fan, pie may be made without it.
To complete this mix, you will need:
1 stick butter
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. bourbon
1-9" deep-dish homemade or store-bought unbaked pie shell
