Mexican Beef Stew
Includes seasoning mix and easy-to-follow instructions.

Where I come from, this is called "Caldillo"...A hearty Mexican beef stew loaded with beef, potatoes, onions, mild green chile, and tomatoes all bathed in a rich & spicy, beef broth. Easy to make on top of the stove or in a slow cooker.
TIP: Be sure and have hot, buttered, flour tortillas on hand to serve alongside for dipping!
To complete this mix, you will need:
1 lb. lean beef stew meat, cut into 1/2" pieces
2 T. oil
4 c water
3 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 (4-oz.) can chopped mild green chile
1 (14.5-oz.) can petite diced tomatoes
